Introduction

A satisfying high fibre , Low fat snack , perfect for a cold day. ( 0 Cholesterol) Switch this up to a dessert by using frozen yoghurt instead of the yoghurt , you will have to adjust the calories then!Quick and easy if you get unexpected guests and is minimal on the mess and fuss! Ingredients


    200 g Granny Smith Apple, cored and cubed , skin on.
    ( about 2 medium apples)
    1/4 cup Water
    1 tsp Ground Cinnimon
    1 Tbsp packed Brown sugar
    2 tsp Becel Light Tub margarine
    2 tsp Reconstituted Lemon Juice (bottled)
    12 g Kellogg's All bran buds ( 2 level Tbsp)
    Topping:
    100 g Yoplait Source 0% Vanilla yoghurt
    1 Tbsp Kashi Go Lean crunch cereal

Directions

In a Large glass microwavable measuring jug Place chopped/cubed apples ( skin on) , water, cinnamon, brown sugar, becel margarine and lemon juice. Microwave for 4 min on High , stirring after 2 min and after the 3rd minute.
Once it has boiled nicely and the sauce has thickened , divide fruit into 2 single serving bowls and top with Yoghurt and sprinkle with Kashi Go Lean cereal. Time may need to be adjusted according to your microwave.
