-
16 ounces of ground turkey
2 medium tomatoes
1 1/2 cups of frozen pepper strips - mixed
can of kidney beans
1 medium to large onion
garlic - about 5 teaspoons minced or 3 cloves
packet of dry chili seasoning
2 tablespoons chili powder
1 tablespoon black pepper
1 tablespoon crushed red pepper
1/2 tablespoon garlic powder
Directions
Serves 4
Brown the ground turkey in a large pan until it is no longer pink throughout. Stir occasionally to keep from getting large chunks of meat. Chop the onion and the tomatoes. Take the onions, garlic, tomatoes, and peppers and mix them in until they start to get soft. Add the chili seasoning and stir well. Add the spices and stir well. Add in the kidney beans and simmer for a few minutes until all ingredients are hot and blended. It should be the color of chili.
