IntroductionA fabulous spring supper for one A fabulous spring supper for one
2 cups asparagus, chopped
1/2 tbs butter
1 tbs flour
1/2 cup skim milk
salt and pepper to taste
2 pieces wheat toast
in same saucepan, melt butter. add flour and mix to a roux
whisk in milk, simmer until thickened.
add salt and pepper to taste
mix in cooked asparagus until heated thoroughly.
Serve on two pieces wheat toast
