Spaghetti Squash with Ground Beef

Introduction

Spaghetti squash made with ground beef, peppers, zucchini and mushrooms. Spaghetti squash made with ground beef, peppers, zucchini and mushrooms.
Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

    1 medium spaghetti squash
    1 can of Hunts Thick N' Rich spaghetti sauce
    1 package of ground beef or chicken
    1 zucchini - chopped
    1 red pepper - chopped
    1 can sliced mushrooms - drained
    3 ounces marble cheese grated

Directions

Wash outside of spaghetti squash and place whole in a roaster with a bit of water. You do not need to cut it or poke holes in it. Cover and bake at 375 for 1 hour.

Once done - remove from oven and using 2 forks place the squash on a plate to cool before cutting open. It will be very hot.

When cooled cut open and scoop out the seeds. Using a fork scoop out the spaghetti squash strands.

Scramble fry the ground beef or chicken until browned. Add zucchini, mushrooms and red pepper. Scramble fry until soft (approximately 5 minutes).

Add spaghetti sauce and stir. Heat until warmed through.

Spoon over spaghetti squash and top with grated cheese.
