Introduction

testing out an old recipe I have with some healthier substitutes...(nutritional calculation includes these) testing out an old recipe I have with some healthier substitutes...(nutritional calculation includes these)
Number of Servings: 12

Ingredients

    5 Large bananas (recipe calls for 3-4, but I had an extra one..)
    1/2 cup splenda (recipe calls for sugar)
    1 slightly beaten egg
    1/3 cup of melted margarine or butter (I used light margarine)
    1 tsp of baking soda
    1 tsp of baking powder
    1/2 tsp of salt
    1 1/2 cups flour (I used whole wheat)

Tips

The extra banana makes these super moist!


Directions

Mix the mashed banana, sugar, egg & margarine together. Set aside. in a separate bowl, mix together baking soda, baking powder, salt & flour. Mix wet & dry ingredients all together. Pour into greased muffin tins & bake in a 350 degrees F oven for about 20 Minutes.

Serving Size: makes a dozen muffins
