And now you take down the legitimately negative comments so you can keep pedaling the ad? (It's not a recipe, it's an *ad* for Uncle Bens Rice dressed up as a recipe.) Okay, I will tell you that I HAVE actually made this, though many years ago, and it tastes like tinned food and is very salty. - 8/20/14

The sodium alone is horrendous! Even using reduced sodium soups would not decrease this recipe enough for me to try it. When I first saw the recipe I had assumed it would include brown rice, not prepackaged, high sodium white rice. - 8/27/14

At 472 calories per serving it is hardly what I would call a "weight loss" recipe. Any one making this is setting them selves up for failure. Where are the vegetables, where is the healthy eating/lifestyle. This recipe should be pulled from your site. It is just a glorified advertisement! - 8/27/14

I'm surprised at how Sparkpeople keeps letting Uncle Ben post their "healthy" recipes that are so obviously not healthy. I can think of ways to make this recipe that don't involve any canned soups or rice packages that would be a million times healthier. - 8/27/14
