Banana bread (with applesauce)

Introduction

Low fat, lower sugar banana bread Low fat, lower sugar banana bread
Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

    bananas, ripe (3-4)
    sugar, 1/2 cup
    Splenda, 1/2 cup
    Egg Beaters, 1/2 cup
    unsweetened applesauce, 1/2 cup
    vanilla, 1 t
    spelt flour, 2 cups
    baking soda, 1/2 t
    salt, 1 t
    baking powder, 1 T


Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Blend first 3 ingredients. Add Egg Beaters, applesauce and vanilla. Blend well. Add remaining ingredients and mix well. Pour into a greased loaf pan. Bake for 45 minutes.
