Looked awesome but after reading the ingredients list, I decided not to try it. The sodium in packaged and canned foods is to high for me. I might try something similar using less processed ingredients. - 8/15/14

It is irresponsible to put a recipe with this amount of sodium, canned vegetables and already prepared meat on this site. Additionally, the recipe does not even list the correct ingredients:1 box UNCLE BEN'S® COUNTRY INN® Chicken. Directions state: Prepare rice according to package directions. - 8/15/14

I agree with LSIG14 re: the use of less processed foods. I really need to watch my sodium content and would do better with natural ingredients. - 8/15/14

I cook my dry beans ahead of time and freeze then for dishes like this. I never use can beans because of the sodium content. I have made this before but with different veggies. - 8/15/14

This is a good recipe if you de-construct it yourself, using brown rice instead of the boxed rice, homemade beans instead f the canned beans and my own chicken gravy. The sodium is very high in this recipe, the shortcuts are alright if one is unable to do it my way. - 8/15/14
