TS's dirty rice

Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    1/2 lb ground pork
    1/2 c chopped onion
    1/2 c chopped green or red pepper
    1 c chopped cabbage
    3/4 c minute rice
    3/4 c water
    1/2 t garlic powder\
    salt and pepper

Directions

Brown ground pork, add onion, peppers, and cabbage when nearly cooked through. Add garlic powder. Cook until veggies are done. Add minute rice stir in until it is coated slightly with pork. Add water, put lid on until water is absorbed. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
