Fast 'N Spicy Chicken ALA Queen!

Introduction

Twist to the old standby Chicken ALA King, which is fast and spicy! Twist to the old standby Chicken ALA King, which is fast and spicy!
Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    Tyson grilled-ready chicken strips, 4 cups
    Butter, unsalted, .5 cup
    1 Med. Green Bell Pepper, diced
    1 medium white Onion, chopped
    Mushrooms, fresh, 1 cup,sliced
    2 percent milk 2 cups
    Garlic (3 cloves)
    *Celery (2 Stalks), chopped
    *Jalapeno pepper raw (1 pepper), chopped
    *Flour, white, .5 cup
    Oregano, fresh, 2 tbsp
    Dill weed, dried, 1 tsp
    Carrots, raw, 1/8 cup, chopped
    Paprika, dash/pinch
    Cream of Mushroom Soup, condensed, 1 can (10.75 oz)

Tips

Can add carrots, green beans or peas as other options. To make less spicy, remove jalapeno pepper and/or paprika from the recipe. Serve hot.


Directions

Melt butter in onions, green bell pepper, mushrooms, garlic; saute for a few minutes, then remove veggies from butter. Add flour to butter and stir until mostly smooth, then add milk and soup. Stir until it bubbles and is mostly smooth, then add veggies back in and stir. Then add all other ingredients, with the seasonings last, in the following order: dill, oregano, paprika. Eat as is or you can serve over rice or pasta (calories not included in recipe.)

Serving Size: Makes four 1 & 1/2-cup servings or five 1-cup servings
