Cacao Coconut Butter

Introduction

Chocolately rich spread. It tastes like store purchased Cacao Bliss. A delicious Chocolate Coconut butter. I made this following the ingredients from the list off of the back of Cacao Bliss. Number of Servings: 30

Ingredients

    3 Cups Coconut Flakes
    3 T. Coconut oil
    3.4 cup of Agave or Maple Syrup or Honey. Pick one.
    3/4 cup Cacao powder. Sold at health food stores.
    1/4 cup Cacao butter. Sold at health food stores.
    1 tsp. vanilla.
    Salt about a tsp. Start with less and adjust to taste
    buds.

Tips

It is delicious on crackers, spread in the middle of a banana split, rolled up in a tortilla like a pinwheel. Coconut is good for the brain per studies.


Directions

In the food processor add the coconut flakes and coconut oil. Blend until it reaches a coconut butter consistency. It takes several minutes. Rest the food processor so you don't burn it out. Once you have coconut butter add in the rest of the ingredients. The food processor will soften the cacao butter which is hard and incorporate it into the mix. When done store in glass jars.

Serving Size: Around 30 2 T. servings. It makes around 3 8.5 ounce jars.
