Sheri's Homemade Mayonnaise

Introduction

Number of Servings: 1

Ingredients

    1 egg
    2 tblsp apple cider vinegar
    1 tsp mustard powder
    .5 tsp garlic
    1 tsp salt (or to taste)
    .5 tsp white pepper
    1.3 cups canola oil or other oil (Warning: EVOO makes a VERY strong tasting mayo)

Tips

Note: I use an entire egg in my mayonnaise because it is less likely to "break".


Directions

Use a mini food processor or a small bowl with a whisk.
1. Beat the egg, vinegar, and spices then slowly drizzle in the oil until the mayonnaise is thick.

Serving Size: makes about 24 one tablespoon servings
