This is a FABULOUS P90X recipe. We had it last night for the first time and the pork flavor was incredible!! I cooked it in a pyrex baking dish in the oven for 1 hour covered in foil. When I pulled it out, I sliced the meat in the pyrex dish and let the slices soak up some of the juice. YUMMY! - 4/25/08

Good recipe. I didn't give it 5 stars because I reserve that for WOW recipes. I browned it as the recipe said, then baked at 350 for 50 minutes, and it was very moist. We liked it, and didn't think it was spicy-hot at all. May add cayenne next time! - 8/25/10

How delicious was THAT! We loved it. I made it for my hubby and my one year old son. We will definitely be having it again. I cooked mine for 30 minutes, then put foil over top and dropped the temp to 325 for another 12-15 minutes. Served it with rice pilaf and broccoli. Very yummy! - 8/23/10

  • Sorry to say I used it for company who came un-announced and it was not very exciting. The meat was tender but it tasted more like chili. Not a keeper for me. - 12/9/14

  • Made this delicious recipe tonight. I used a pork shoulder picnic roast instead, because we are a family of 7. The flavor was different, and superb. Excellent texture, very moist. I had to increase the amount of seasoning. Served with brown rice and String beans, with onions, red peppers and garlic. - 8/6/13

  • This was Phenomenal! Loved it! Added a little more spice and Scriacha hot sauce since I didn't have tobasco. Also, the only pineapple in the house was a small can of crushed in own juice. I added that to the roasting pan and baked (after browning) for 35 min. Should have baked for only 20 min. - 8/11/12

  • Loved it. Simple technique, fairly complex flavor considering. Perfect for a quick dinner. I did add the pineapple to the roasting pan, and my kids thought that was super fun. - 6/11/12

  • AWESOME! I jazzed it up by doubleing the chili, cumin and cinnamon!I baked a peeled/slice apple with it for 15 minutes then added real fresh pineapple slices for the last 15 minutes. ThenI made rice with kiwi, strawberries, the baked pineapple&apples, green onions and cilantro with it. OMG!I loved it!! - 4/29/12

  • It came out very good, but if you like it a spicy, I would add more of the Chile powder & a bit more tabasco sauce to the brown sugar mixture. Will definitely make again. - 2/8/12

  • I had to rate this somewhere in the middle. My husband wasn't a fan, but I liked it just fine. I thought it needed to be a bit spicier, so if I make it again I'd have a heavier hand with the chili, cumin and tabasco. - 4/14/11
