Bobby's Goulash, 6 servings

Ingredients

    1 pound ground chuck
    .5 cup onion, chopped
    1 clove garlic
    1 1/2 cups water
    1 can ( 8 oz) Tomato Sauce, no salt added
    1 can (15 oz) Tomatoes, no salt added
    .5 teaspoon dried basil
    .5 teaspoon dried marjoram
    .5 teaspoon dried oregano
    .5 teaspoon dried rosemary
    .5 teaspoon dried sage
    .5 teaspoon dried thyme
    1 bay leaf
    1.5 teaspoons soy sauce
    .25 teaspoon black pepper
    .25 teaspoon garlic powder
    1 cup elbow macaroni, uncooked

Directions

In a large Dutch oven, sauté the ground beef over medium-high heat until no pink remains. Break up the neat while sautéing. Add onions and garlic and sauté until tender, about 5 minutes.
Add the water, tomato sauce, tomatoes, basil, marjoram, sage, thyme, bay leaf, soy sauce, and pepper. Stir well. Cover and simmer 15 to 20 minutes. Add the macaroni, stir well, cover and simmer 25 minutes.
Remove from heat, remove the bay leaf and allow the mixture to rest about 30 minutes more before serving. Even better the next day!!
