Used all low-fat subs for this one (light sour cream, low fat cream of chicken soup, 2% cheese etc.) and it was very well received. Also used scallions in place of regular onions and they gave it a bit of color. Thanks, Mike! - 12/26/12

Will make, but won't use the cornflakes and substitute soup with reduced fat soup. - 6/5/09

  • This is a HUGE hit everywhere I take it. I only use the cream of chicken soup, didn't like the mushroom soup in this at all. I also use lite sour cream. Better take the recipe with you, you'll be ask for it. :) - 5/29/09

  • The traditional name of this casserole is "Funeral Potatoes." Although it is called that because it is often served at Mormon funerals, the name also describes where you will end up if you eat this. Butter, sour cream, cheddar cheese, cream soup...this is not healthy food!
