Introduction

Wonderfully easy slow cooker recipe. Very tasty! Wonderfully easy slow cooker recipe. Very tasty!
Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    6 boneless skinless chicken thighs
    1 hand squeezed lemon's worth of juice
    celery salt, to taste
    smoked paprika, to taste
    black pepper, to taste
    1 small can cream of mushroom soup (I used Healthy Request, 10.75 oz)
    1 small can cream of celery soup (I used Healthy Request 10.75 oz)
    1/3 cup Pinot Grigio (Any white wine or dry sherry should be fine)
    1/4 cup fresh parmesan cheese, shredded (I used Sargento)

Directions

Cover a plate with a layer of paper towels. Rinse chicken and place on plate. Pat dry. Season top side of chicken with half the lemon juice, celery salt, paprika, and pepper.


Place chicken in slow cooker with seasoned side facing down. Repeat the seasoning process on the top side.


In a medium bowl, mix the two cans of soup with the Pino Grigio. Pour entire mixture into slow cooker over chicken.


Cover and cook on low for about 7.5 hours (or on high for about 4.5. I prefer the slow settings.)


Serve with whole grain brown rice, if desired. Rice is NOT included in the nutritional calculation.


This recipe makes 6 regular servings, or 12 ladylike servings. I had a ladylike serving, and I served DH his over 90 second whole grain brown rice. Nutritonal calculation is for 6 regular servings.
