2 C fat free croutons (plain or flavored)
2 C fat free shredded cheese
1 C egg beaters (or other egg substitute)
4 C fat free milk
1 t salt
2 t ground black pepper
2 t ground mustard
6 slices cooked bacon
2. Wisk together eggs, egg substitute, milk and spices. Pour mixture over croutons & cheese.
3. Crumble bacon and sprinkle on top.
4. Cover and refridgerate overnight.
5. Uncover. (do not preheat!). Bake for 1 hour at 325. Let stand for 5 minutes before serving. Best served warm or hot, do not reheat in microwave--use the oven for leftovers.
TIP: Reduce the fat from the bacon by baking on an elevated rack and patting dry any remaining grease.
