Home made garlic bread

Introduction

Quick substitute for texas toast... Quick substitute for texas toast...
Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    4 slices of bread (I used potato, other choices can change calorie value)

    2 tbsp butter (I use Smart Balance)

    ~1tbsp garlic powder

    1tsp salt free garlic & herb seasoning (McCain) - couldn't find in tracker

    4 tsp Kraft Parmesan grated cheese

Directions

Pre-heat broiler (just use 'broil' setting on oven)

Mix butter, garlic powder, and saltfree garlic & herb seasoning in a cup (or small bowl)

Spread an even amount onto each slice of bread and place on an un greased cookie sheet (or foiled covered broiler pan) - can use cooking spray but toast will not be crispy

Sprinkle 1tsp parm. cheese over each slice

Broil until slices are at desired crispiness (sp?) , checking every 2-3 minutes.
