Homemade Sausage Patties

Introduction

Great lowfat breakfast sausage or use in spaghetti sauce or on pizza. Great lowfat breakfast sausage or use in spaghetti sauce or on pizza.

Ingredients

    1 1/2 teaspoons salt
    3 1/2 teaspoons paprika
    2/3 teaspoon garlic granules or garlic powder
    1/3 teaspoon fennel seed
    1 teaspoon ground black pepper
    1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes, for spicy (optional) - like mine spicy
    1 tube Casing, Jimmy Dean Reduced-Pork Sausage
    1 tube Casing, Honeysuckle Ground Turkey (97/3)

Directions

1. Blend all ingredients together (except pork and turkey) in a mini-food processor or spice grinder.
2. Mix with ground pork and turkey. Chill seasoned meat at least 3 hrs before using.
