Introduction

low cal and delicious! low cal and delicious!
Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    1 pound of lump crab meat (deshelled)
    1 box Cheesy Scalloped Potatoes
    1 small egg
    1 tsp. of old bay seasoning
    1 tsp. of salt and pepper
    1 tbsp. parsley
    1 tbsp. baking powder
    1 tbsp. light mayo
    1 tbsp.worchestershire sauce
    1/4 bread crumbs
    2 cups of water

Directions

***PLEASE NOTE!!
I do not make the scalloped potatoes according to the directions.I omit the milk and butter.I use ONLY water!!!

So,mix all ingredients together (accept crab meat,bread crumbs and potatoes) in a bowl,add water and stir together.

Next take a greased 9x9 glass pyrex square bakeware and start layering...I put crab then potatoes,add some of the mixture,put another layer of crab,more potatoes and then the last of the mixture over the top of the whole thing. Lastly sprinkle the bread crumbs over the top of the entire thing and bake at 400 degrees for about 40 minutes.

The recipe makes 4 very big and generous servings that are approx. 246 calories each. It tastes delicious and it's filling. You can serve it with a salad or some broccoli or some other low cal vegetable. It makes a very nice low cal dinner.
