Baked Apple-Maple Chicken

Introduction

Nice meal for fall, great excuse for apple picking!! Nice meal for fall, great excuse for apple picking!!
Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    4 small bonless/skinless chicken breasts
    1/2 cup sliced onions
    2 cooking apples (red), sliced
    1/2 cup sugar-free maple flavored syrup
    1/3 cup fat free italian dressing

Directions

Preheat oven to 350.
Spray large oven-proof skillet (no-stick) with small amount of cooking spray. Heat on top of stove on medium/high heat then add chicken. Cook for three minutes in each side or until lightly browned. Remove from heat. Place onions on top of chicken and surround chicken with apple slices. Mix the syrup and dressing and pour over chicken.
Bake for 20/25 minures or until chicken is thoroughly cooked through.

Make 4 servings.
