Karen's Beef Stew

Introduction

I love making this. Great for a easy Sunday family dinner on a cold winter night. I love making this. Great for a easy Sunday family dinner on a cold winter night.
Number of Servings: 12

Ingredients

    1 pound lean beef
    6 large carrots
    5 Medium potatos
    1 jar fat free beef gravy
    1 packet beef stew mix
    1/4 cup flour
    3 cups water

Directions

Peel carrots and cut into bite sized pieces. Cut potato into bite sized pieces. Place in microwave safe bowl and par-cook in micro for about 10 minutes. Meanwhile, cut beef into bite sized pieces and place in oven safe dish or cast-iron dutch oven. Once carrots and potatos are par- cooked in micro, add in with beef. In small bowl, mix stew mix packet, flour and water until blended and pour over meat and veggies. Add in jar of beef gravy and stir. Cook for 90 minutes, stirring evey half hour.

About 12 1.5 cup servings.
