Buttermilk Blueberry Muffins

Ingredients

    1 cup all purpose flour
    1 cup whole wheat flour
    1/2 cup packed brown sugar
    1 Tbs baking powder
    1 ts baking soda
    1/2 tsp grated lemon peel
    1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
    1 cup blueberries
    1 cup fat-free vanilla yogurt
    1 cup buttermilk
    2 ts raw sugar

Directions

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. In a large bowl, combine the first seven ingredients. Gently fold in blueberries. Combine yogurt and buttermilk, stir into dry ingredients just until moistened.
Fill greased or paper-lined muffin cups 2/3 full. Sprinkle with the raw sugar. Bake 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool for 5 minutes before removing from pan to a wire rack.. Makes 12 muffins.
