Introduction

A quick and easy way to make chick peas delicious! A quick and easy way to make chick peas delicious!
Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    1 small onion, chopped
    1 Tbsp evoo
    2 cans of chick peas
    1 red bell pepper, sliced into strips
    2 cups fresh basil, chopped

Directions

Heat the oil in a medium skillet over med-high heat. Add the onion and saute until fragrant and translucent (about 5 minutes). Add the bell pepper, then cover, reduce heat to low, and cook for two minutes. Add chick peas and continue cooking for another two minutes. Stir in the fresh basil and serve.

Makes six servings.
