Strawberry Banana OatmealSmoothie

Introduction

Low Cal Low Fat & FILLING! Low Cal Low Fat & FILLING!
Number of Servings: 2

Ingredients

    3/4 cup frozen Strawberries

    2 tsp. Designer Whey Vanilla protein powder

    1/2 med. banana

    3/4 cup nonfat milk

    1/2 cup prepared oatmeal (1 minute oats)

    2 tsp. flaxseed

    1 tsp. Splenda (optional)



Directions

Microwave 1/4 cup oat with 1/2 cup water.

Put all ingredienst in blender for approx. 45 seconds or until fully blended. Enjoy!

QuickTip: Since I make smoothies a lot with oatmeal in them, I go ahead and microwave a larger batch, refrigerate the unsused part, and then measure out the amount needed for the smoothie. I It's also nice, because then the oatmeal is cold too!

I notice that when I have a smoothie with oatmeal, I don't tend to get hungry as fast...which is always a GOOD thing! Try it and see!
