Introduction

Number of Servings: 7

Ingredients

    ~1 pound of sirloin steak cubed (package sizes vary, the calories here are for .85lb)

    1 large onion, diced
    2 cloves of garlic, crushed
    425 baby carrots (usually a small pre-packaged bag)
    2 cups of white mushrooms (sliced or whole)
    ~6 medium sized red potatoes (cubed) (600grams)
    1 tsp pepper
    1/2 tsp salt
    2 cans (10.5 ounce each) of low-fat beef broth
    1 tbsp flour
    1 cup red wine

Directions

Makes 7 1/5 cup servings.

Brown beef over medium high. Once cooked drain fat and set aside.

Saute onion, garlic, carrots, mushrooms and potatoes until soft.

In a large pot, combine beef and above veggies, pepper and salt, blend well.

Combine broth, flour and wine in separate bowl, whisking together and stir in to the large pot.

Simmer over medium-low heat for ~30 minutes.
