Submitted by: BUMBLEBEE158

Introduction

This is only one of many possible varieties, but my total favorite.
Feel free to add other ingridients like mushrooms, sausage or egg.
My version is the one with less fat and calories.

Ingredients

    Pasta, Barilla Cellentani, 10 oz
Ham, extra lean, (5% fat), 1 cup, diced
    Peas, canned, 1 can
Tangerines (mandarin oranges) canned, 2 cup
Kraft Miracle Whip Fat Free Dressing, 4 tbsp
    Granulated Sugar, 1.5 tsp
    *Lemon Juice, 0.1 fl oz
    *Ketchup, Heinz, 3 tbsp
    Yellow Mustard, 1 tsp

Directions

This recipe makes about 10 servings and is therefore very good for parties.

First of all cook the pasta in boiling water according the package informations. During that you can prepare the friut and vegetable. Open the cans and empty them into a sieve so the liquid can drain. Once the pasta is ready pour them into a sieve and rinse with cold water or put them in ice-water. When the pasta is cold, fill it into a big bowl and add the ham, peas and tangerines. Now it is time to prepare the dressing. For that you will need a seperate bowl. In that bowl you fill the Miracle Whip Fat Free Dressing, sugar and mustard. Stir these three ingridients very well to get a homogenous dressing. Then add the lemon juice and the ketchup.
Taste it. it has to taste sweet and sour at the same time.
When you are happy with the taste, pour it over the salad and stir it well so that everything is well-covered with dressing.

Enjoy!!
