Coleslaw stir-fry

Introduction

This is a tasty base or side dish for a lot of different dishe. It almost tastes like a Chinese-vegetable fry. It goes great with fish or chicken. This is a tasty base or side dish for a lot of different dishe. It almost tastes like a Chinese-vegetable fry. It goes great with fish or chicken.
Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    4 cups chopped cabbage
    4 cups shredded carrots
    2 tbsp. garlic powder
    2 tbsp. onion powder
    1 tbsp. olive oil
    1/2 cup water, if vegetables start to dry out


Directions

Cut up cabbage and carrots( you may buy the pre-made slaw mix with vegetables already cut up).
Pre-heat skillet on low for 1-4 minutes before adding mix. Add mix to skillet and sprinkle with garlic powder and onion powder. Sprinkle 1/2 the olive oil over top of mix, then stir coating the mix with oil before adding the rest. Continue stir and flipping until the mix is wilted and still has crunch left. Add water if neccessary to prevent burning.
Makes 4 1/2 cup servings.
