Chicken Fried Rice

Ingredients

    *Brown Rice, long grain, .5 cup (remove)
    White Rice, long grain, .5 cup (remove)
    Chicken Breast, no skin, 0.5 breast, bone and skin removed (remove)
    Carrots, cooked, 1 carrot (remove)
    Onions, raw, 1 cup, chopped (remove)
    Scallions, raw, .25 cup, chopped (remove)
    Egg, fresh, 2 large (remove)
    *Soy Sauce, .25 cup (remove)
    Sesame Oil, 1 1tsp (remove)

Directions

Cook rice according to directions. Chop onion, carrot, and scallion. Add vegetables to sesame oil in wok or non-stick pan over high heat for five minutes. Chop raw chicken and add to pan until thoroughly cooked. Add eggs to pan, scrambling until thoroughly cooked. Add cooked rice to pan, and stir, cooking for five minutes. Remove pan from heat and add soy sauce to taste.

  • I tried this last night and it was good. I didnt put any of the vegetables in it, it was still good. I didnt have any soy sauce so I used Weirstersier sauce(sorry for the spelling) that my dad used on his steaks. It was good and cant wait to cook it for my parents this week! - 7/5/08
