Number of Servings: 36

Ingredients

    3/4 cup I Can't Believe It's Not Butter
    2/3 cup granulated sugar
    2/3 cup packed brown sugar
    2 tsp baking powder
    1/2 tsp salt
    1 egg
1 cup mashed ripe bananas (2-3 medium)
    1 tsp vanilla
    2 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips (6 oz.)

Directions

Grease a 15x10x1" baking pan; set aside. In a medium mixing bowl, beat the butter or margarine with an electric mixer on medium to high speed for 30 seconds. Add the granulated sugar, brown sugar, baking powder, and salt; beat till combined. Beat in the egg, bananas, and vanilla till combined. Beat in as much of the flour as you can with the mixer. Stir in any remaining flour with spoon. Stir in the chocolate pieces.

Spread dough in prepared baking pan. Bake at 350 for about 25 minutes or until golden. Cool, then cut into 36 bars. (If you prefer larger bars, cut into 24 pieces instead -- this makes each bar 133 calories.)

Note: If you substitute granulated baking Splenda (not the sugar blend) for the sugar, you can save 10 calories per bar with 36 bars.
