Hearty and warm...delicious! Hearty and warm...delicious!
Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    1 lb-ground turkey or lean ground beef
    1-medium green pepper
    1-small white onion
    2-cans diced tomatoes and chiles, juice included
    1-can black beans, juice included
    1-can chili ready red kidney beans
    1 or 2-cloves garlic
    cayenne pepper to taste
    1-tbsp chili powder
    1-tsp black pepper

Directions

-Brown ground turkey or beef and drain excess fat.
-Chop onions, green pepper and garlic.
-Heat oil in the same pan and brown the vegetables.
-Add tomatoes w/chiles, black beans and kidney beans.
-Heat to boiling
-Add the remaining ingredients while stirring
-Reduce the heat, cover and simmer for 20-60 minutes.
