Maple muffins

Number of Servings: 12

Ingredients

    Wheat flour, white, all-purpose, unenriched,
    1 cup
    Whole Wheat Flour, 1/3 cup
    Baking Powder, 1 tblsp.
    Salt, 1/2 tsp.
    Shortening, 1/4 cup
    oatmeal 3/4 cup
    Milk, 2%, 2/3 cups
    Maple Syrup, 1/2 cup
    Egg, fresh, 1 large (remove)


Directions

Combine the flours, baking powder & salt together and set aside.
Mix the shortening with the sugar add the milk and egg in a big bowl - add the dry ingred. above then the oatmeal. Pour into greased muffin tins

bake for 20 mins. @ 400 F and enjoy
