Barbeque Pork with Mop Sauce

Ingredients

    2 tbsp Packed Dark Brown Sugar
    1 tbsp Paprika
    1 tbsp Chili Powder
    1.5 tsp Ground Cumin
    1 tsp Salt
    ¼ tsp Cayenne
    2 Pork Tenderloins (or 6 Chicken Breast)
    ⅓ cup Ketchup
    ¼ cup Cider Vinegar
    2 tbsp Molasses
    2 tsp Worcestershire Sauce

Directions

1) Prepare spice rub by mixing brown sugar, paprika, chili powder, cumin, salt, cayenne, and pepper in a bowl.

2) Rub spice on meat and let stand for 15 minutes.

3) Prepare sauce by mixing ketchup, vinegar, molasses, and Worcestershire sauce in a bowl.

4) Rub meat with remaining rub and grill for ~15 minutes on each side or until fully cooked.

  • This is very good! I've made it several times from the Weight Watchers New Complete Cookbook! It's one of our favorites. We dont use anything else for BBQ now. It is very good on ribs and chicken! - 7/28/08
