Introduction

This power shake is originally from the ever-popular Abs Diet but I've tailored it to cater to lactose-intolerant individuals and also those living the vegetarian lifestyle. Number of Servings: 2

Ingredients

1 cup WestSoy Nonfat Vanilla Soy Milk
    1/2 Tbsp NATURAL Peanut Butter
    1 cup frozen unsweetened strawberries
1 scoop Metabolic Drive Protein Powder, Strawberry or Vanilla
    6 ice cubes, crushed
1 Tbsp flaxseed to top off shake

(**feel free to message me for tips on where to buy your protein supplements!!!**)

Directions

Pour soymilk into blender, add peanut butter followed by protein powder, then ice cubes. (DO NOT BLEND yet - You want the ice cubes to small kine melt)

Defrost the strawberries for 30 seconds in the microwave then add to blender.

Blend ingredients first by pulsing on high for 15 seconds. Then blend for 30 seconds straight.

Pour into glass, top with flaxseed and down it.

Head to the gym!!! :)

Makes 2, 8 oz power shakes (or slightly more if you use more than 6 ice cubes & more liquid - as in adding small kine water - than is listed).

***NOTE: The substitution I swapped out was nonfat soy milk for 1% milk and I omitted the 1/2 c low-fat vanilla yogurt. You could add 1/2 c soy yogurt (vanilla, strawberry, or plain) from Silk or Whole Soy brands if you'd like though!!***
