Nancy's Healthy Strawberry Smoothie

Introduction

This uses yogurt instead of bananas. Flaxseed is added for extra Omega 3s. Low-sugar strawberry preserves is used as sweetener but maybe substitued with Splenda. This uses yogurt instead of bananas. Ingredients

    1 cup strawberries cut in small pieces
    1/2 cup skim milk
    1/2 cup plain yogurt (could use vanilla)
    2 tbsp. flaxseed (ground)
    1 tbsp. low sugar strawberry preserves (for sweetness - may substitute sugar or Splenda)

Directions

Mix all together in blender. Makes 1 2-cup serving.
