Slow Apricot Salsa Garlic Chicken

Ingredients

    3 boneless, skinless chicken breast
    3 cloves minced garlic
    7 oz salsa (leftover from restaurant take out)
    3 oz sugar free apricot jam
    1/2 c shredded mexican blend cheese

Directions

place chicken in slow cooker, season lightly with coarse salt, pepper, oregano, cumin and chili powder.
Mix salsa and jam together in a small bowl with minced/pressed garlic and pour over chicken to
cover.
Cook on low 4 hours and add cheese for last 10 minutes, allowing enough time to melt.

Serve with rice and beans.
