Chicken Pouches

Introduction

Delicious mixture of chicken, cream cheese and cream of mushroom soup contained in a warm roll pouch. Delicious mixture of chicken, cream cheese and cream of mushroom soup contained in a warm roll pouch.
Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

    1 cup - cooked chicken, cubed
    2 tbsp - cream cheese, reduced fat
    1/2 tbsp - butter, unsalted
    1 can - cream of mushroom soup, reduced fat
    2 tsp - chives (dried or fresh)
    1/8 tsp - seasoning salt
    (1) 8oz package - crescent rolls, reduced fat

Directions

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

Mix cream cheese, butter, soup, chives and seasoning salt in a large bowl. After fully mixed, stir in chicken. Set aside.

Open crescent dough and unroll. Separate into 4 rectangles. Press down on diagonal seams to close. Cut each rectangle in half, creating 8 squares. Lay each square out on a foil covered cooking sheet.

Place a spoonful of mixture on each square dividing mixture evenly. Carefully grab each corner of the dough squares. Pull to center and twist to "tie" pouch around mixture.

Bake for 17-20 minutes at 375 degrees. Serve hot.

*Pouches can be frozen. Follow directions to make. Do not cook. Instead, place cookie sheet in freezer until firm. Then move pouches to freezer bag. When ready to eat, preheat oven to 375 degrees and bake frozen pouches for 18-22 minutes.
