Sweet Potato Chips

Introduction

If you like chips, but they're not on your diet, then try these out! If you like chips, but they're not on your diet, then try these out!

Ingredients

    raw sweet potato
    mrs. dash (or comparable no-salt seasoning)
    salt to taste
    Pam cooking spray

Directions

- use a carrot peeler to shave the sweet potato or other tuber you may like
- sprinkle on the mrs. dash, lightly
- spray Pam on the chips
- mix to coat chips with seasoning and Pam
- spread out chips over a foil-lined baking pan
- cook at 450 until crispy
- lightly salt to taste

    I tried the peeling method and found that my 'chips' were too thin and just burned. So I made some into fries and thinly sliced the second batch. I also used Olive Oil spray and mixed up cinnamon/sugar, plain salt, and rotisseire chicken seasoning (not all together but in seperate batches. - 7/4/09
