Chocolate Chip Protein Bars.2

Submitted by: LCHALF7

Introduction

You can substitute chocolate chips for raisins. I use natural peanut butter.

****This is the recipe without Splenda and using Stevia instead. Will have to play with baking times.

Number of Servings: 16

Ingredients

    1 cup vanilla protein powder
    1/2 cup rice flour
    2 cups gluten free oats
1/2 cup rice bran (I use EnerG brand)
    1/2 tsp cinnamon
    3/4 tsp salt
1/2 cup of raisins (or chocolate chips)
1 1/2 cups plain lowfat yogurt
    1/2 cup peanut butter (softened)
    2 tsp vanilla extract
    1 tsp stevia

Directions

Mix all wet ingredients and dry ingredients in separate bowls.

Fold wet ingredients into dry and spread in sprayed 9X13 pan.

Bake at 350 for 15 minutes or until just firm enough to cute and separate. Put bars on sprayed cookie sheet leaving space in between each bar. Bake another 15 minutes or until edges are golden brown.
