Just squeezed about 60 lemon from our tree over the weekend, freezing the juice in ice cube tray and then put them into zip locks to use anytime. 12 cubes made up one (1) cup and the lemonaide was fast, easy and very refreshing. Thanks - 12/16/09

my boyfriend makes this at restaurants because he doesn't like diet coke or iced tea. He just asks for water with lemon and adds splenda to it. I tried it and found that I like it and it cuts our restaurant bill a little - 11/17/09

If you don't like fake sugar, you could try Stevia (derived from the Stevia leaf). Truvia is a readily available brand name. I find it to be sweeter than Splenda so cut down the amound and sweeten to taste. - 8/8/10

  • Use Stevia instead of Splenda. 1/2 c bulk is a bit too much, leaves a bitter taste. Somewhere between 1/3 and a 1/2 would be good. 5 fresh lemons got me to 1 cup of juice exactly. - 2/21/12

  • Everytime I see Splenda mentioned I completely disregard a recipe. It makes me so sad to see so many using this evil, toxic ingredient. It's as simple as Google. I personally like my brain and want to keep it working in my old age. Stevia is a much better choice. - 6/3/11
