Chicken Italiano

Introduction

Boneless Chicken Breasts with onions, mushrooms, peppers with whole tomatoes Boneless Chicken Breasts with onions, mushrooms, peppers with whole tomatoes
Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    4 boneless chicken breasts
    2 cloves garlic, minced
    2 lg onions
    2 green peppers
    2 red, yellow or orange peppers
    1 lb sliced mushroom(optional)
    2 cans Hunts tomatoes w/ basil & oregano
    4 tsp olive oil
    1 tsp each basil, black pepper,(more if needed as your taste)
    1 tsp oregano(more if needed as your taste)
    crushed red pepper(optional)

Directions

Season chicken with garlic powder, onion powder, and pepper and set in pyrex dish with pam. Slice peppers, onions and mushrooms and saute with olive oil in pan just till tender. Add tomatoes. Add seasoning and cook about 30 minutes, till flavors are all mixed and tomatoes are soft. Pour mixture on top of chicken, cover and place in oven at 350* for 20 minutes or till fully cooked. Serves 4. Great over pasta or rice
