Introduction

Number of Servings: 12

Ingredients


    1 1/2 cup whole wheat flour
    1/2 tsp baking soda
    1/2 tsp salt
    1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
    1 cup sugar
    10 oz frozen, unsweetened strawberries, thawed (replace or mix with other berries as desired)
    2 eggs, well beaten
    2/3 cup unsweetened applesauce
    2/3 cup chopped nuts (optional, and not included in nutritional info)

Directions

Preheat oven to 350.
Sift dry ingredients together into a large bowl. Mix remaining ingredients and pour into dry mixture. Stir just enough to dampen all ingredients.
Pour into a well-greased loaf pan.
Bake for 1 hour.
