a yummy stew on a cold night a yummy stew on a cold night
Number of Servings: 12

Ingredients

    1lb beef stewing meat
    baby carrots approx 30
    1 med onion
    3 med potatoes
    1 can french style green beans
    48 oz water
    1/4 cornstarch
    black pepper
    red pepper

Directions

brown beef. add to pot with water and onions and beef broth. add baby carrots. let simmer for 1- 1 1/2 hours. add pepper black and red. let simmer 20 min more. add potatoes. after potatoes are cooked then add green beans after they are warmed then add mixed cornstarched with water and slowly thicken til thick. serve with cracker if desired.
