    24 oz Beef Round, cubed
    1 can 98% Fat Free Cream of Mushroom Soup
    1 cup Fat Free Sour Cream
    1 cup red wine
    1 package lipton onion soup mix


**If you brown the meat in some cooking spray, the meat will stay in chunks and have a nice carmel color and flavor.

Mix all ingredients and cook in a crock pot on high for 3-4 hrs. or can cook in oven in a covered casserole dish for 4-5 hrs. at 260 degrees or until meet is fork tender. The longer you cook, the thicker the gravy becomes and the more tender the meat.

  • The color was very odd because of the red wine, but the taste was interesting and meat was tender. Couldn't get picky family past the odd purple/gray color enough to eat. Next time will omit the red wine. - 9/1/08
