3 lbs round steak (all fat trimmed off) 1 lg onion chopped 2 or 3 bell peppers in strips (any color) 1 -2 cans stewed tomatoes Chilie seasoning to taste
Cut steak into bite size pieces and brown in a non stick pan. Add onions to pan and cook until soft. Add 1/2 the peppers, the chile seasoning to taste, and the tomatoes and simmer until meat is tender. Add remaining peppers and simmer just until soft. I often use El Pato mexican tomato sauce as it has a little kick and great flavor. But you can use your favorite mexican seasoning. Serve with flour tortillas or rice. Very yummy and low fat. Makes 12 servings
