Introduction

This is a healthy and hearty meal. I am using the word "Stoup" , borrowed from Rachel Ray.

Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

    3 Cups Trader Joe's Extra Fine French Green Beans

    1 Can Trader Joe's Whole Kernel Corn, No Salt Added

    Trader Joe's Italian fusilli Pasta, The Entire Bag

    4 Maggi Vegetable Broth Cubes

    1 1/2 Cups Celery, chopped

    30 Med. Baby Carrots Cut in Half

    1 tsp Parsley, Fresh, Minced

    1 tsp Thyme, Fresh, Minced

    1/2 Tbsp Basil, Fresh, Minced

    1 Small Onion, Chopped

    2 Cloves Garlic, Lg, Minced

    1/4 tsp Ginger, Ground

    1/4 tsp Tarragon

    1/4 tsp Tumeric

    1 7oz Can Slice Button Mushrooms

    1 Cup Barley, Pearled

    1 1/2 Cup Peas, Frozen

    8 Cups Water

    1Tbsp Olive Oil

    1 32oz Box Kitchen Basics Natural Vegetable Cooking Stock

Directions

In a LARGE Pot, Using Medium High Heat, add olive oil, onions and garlic. Sautee about 5 minutes.


Add All the other ingredients and reduce heat to medium low, then cover. Simmer for about 45 mins to an hour.


Keep an eye on the water level, if needed add more.


This gives you about 8 2cup Servings.


Salt and Pepper to taste. Enjoy!
