Introduction

These are a neat appetizer I had at a tea recently. Easy to make and tasty. These are a neat appetizer I had at a tea recently. Easy to make and tasty.
Number of Servings: 15

Ingredients

    2 pints strawberries
8 oz. Cream Cheese, fat free or low fat
6 tsp. sugar (can use substitue)
    1/2 Tbsp. lemon juice

Directions

Cream together cream cheese, sugar and lemon juice. Place in piping bag (or ziploc baggie) and place in refrigerator to firm up a bit.
Meanwhile, wash and dry strawberries. Cut tops (stems) off so they stand flat on a plate. The cut a cross or X into the tips of the strawberries.
Once the cream cheese mixture has firmed up a bit (Not too firm), pipe mixture into the X in the strawberries.

1 serving is about 3 strawberries.

You can also drizzle melted chocolate over the strawberries. Makes a pretty presentation.
