bay leaf 1
Salt, 1 dash
Whole Wheat Spaghetti, cooked (pasta), 150 grams
Pepper, black, 1 dash
Olive Oil, 2 tbsp
Ground beef, lean, 350 grams
Onions, raw, 1 large
Peppers, sweet, red, raw, sliced, 1 cup
Carrots, raw, 1 large (7-1/4" to 8-1/2" long)
Tomato Paste, .25 cup
Water, tap, 2 cup (8 fl oz)
Parmesan Cheese, grated, 4 tbsp
Heat oil and add in ground beef and brown for about 3 min. add in salt, pepper, onion, carrots and bay leaf. cook for another 3 - 4 min.
Stir in Paste and water. reduce heat to low and simmer for about 10 -15 min.
drain pasta, but in a large dish and pour meat and veggies over, sprinkle Parmesan Cheese over, and serve.
Makes 6 - 1 cup portions
