Whole Wheat Pancakes

Introduction

These pancakes can be frozen and then toasted for breakfast the next morning. These pancakes can be frozen and then toasted for breakfast the next morning.
Number of Servings: 29

Ingredients

    1 1/2 c. White Flour
    1 1/2 c. Whole Wheat Flour
    3 T. Sugar
    2 T. Baking Powder
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    2 eggs
    3 c. Milk
    3 T. Applesauce or Oil
    1 1/2 tsp. vanilla

Directions

In large bowl, stir together flours, sugar, baking powder and salt. In separate bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, applesauce and vanilla; pour over dry ingredients and stir just until moistened.

Pour about a 1/4 c. onto a greased griddle and cook until bubbles appear and then flip and cook the other side.

Makes between 2 & 3 dozen, depending on how big your pancakes are.
