Chop the onions and garlic add to a sauce pan with two tablespoons of olive oil and cook until tender. Add tomatoes, peas, parsley, salt, pepper and sugar. Cover and cook over medium heat for about 20 minutes.
I agree with comment below. I was looking for a good easy way to switch up the boring old peas. This recipe did the trick. My family ate it pretty good. I will make it again. BTW, I used 2 tsp oil to reduce the fat.
